About the Saved By Grace Foundation

The Saved by Grace Medical and Educational Foundation was established in July 2021

Our Story

This foundation was birthed through the inspiration of God as a result of an unfortunate incident that occurred in 2020.
The foundation’s trustees had become privy to a situation where a university student (who had two younger siblings) lost both parents within the space of one week during the Covid pandemic. They became deeply concerned about how the children would cope financially, which led to planting the seed of a charity. The seed refused to germinate as there were so many worries, chief amongst them being finance, which kept the project on hold.

Although thoughts of the charity never left them, there was no progress on it.

Six months down the line, one of the trustees contracted the Coronavirus. During the battle for her life, she noticed the poverty level and attendant inability to pay medical bills. This revelation was heartbreaking, and the need for charity became more evident. After about three weeks of intensive medical care and millions of naira spent, she recovered. As she recovered in the hospital, it dawned on her that she was saved by grace. Then it hit her again; ‘you need to help other people.

Just like the sound of a chiming bell, the foundation re-echoed again in her head, and it was time to do something. Thus, SAVED BY GRACE was born.
